Benjamin F. Byrd IV
A lifetime Nashville native, Benjamin Byrd graduated magna cum laude from The University of the South in 2016. Upon graduating, he found a position in New York with Capital Spring, a billion-dollar private equity firm focused on funding restaurant franchises. While at Capital Spring, he worked on underwriting mergers of various franchisee portfolios, as well as sourcing and underwriting acquisitions. Typical deal size was between $15-$50 million and was placed as senior/subordinated debt or preferred equity with warrants.
In August 2017, Benjamin partnered with Dan McVicker to launch Ramston Capital with the goal of developing multifamily communities in Nashville and similar markets. Until August of 2019, Ben worked with Freeman Webb as their acquisitions lead in Texas and Florida. Freeman Webb is a multi-billion-dollar multifamily investment management company, with approximately 12,000 units owned and another 4,000 under management. At Freeman Webb, Ben sourced and underwrote “value add” multifamily properties, with specific focus on Dallas, Tampa, Jacksonville and Orlando.
Dan N. McVicker

Dan McVicker is a commercial builder serving governmental clients in Tennessee, including the Metropolitan government and Davidson Co. General Services, Public Works, and Metro Water. He also works as a commercial broker affiliate with Freeman Webb Company Realtors, serving dozens of clients in Tn, Tx and FL. Dan combines over 35 years of experience in commercial real estate with the skills of a Tennessee general contractor licensed in residential, commercial and industrial real estate. He brings additional experience in commercial banking, office and industrial leasing, high-rise office TI and build-out. He has developed projects such as the Gateway Center Business Park, and acted as president of heavy manufacturing businesses across the United States.

Charles Barrett has been a practicing attorney in New York and Tennessee for over two decades. In that time, he has gained a national reputation for this work and successfully litigated some of the most high-profile cases in the country. He has, for example, counseled the largest tire manufacturer in North America in a large commercial breach of contract claim against one of the world’s largest computer companies, represented one of Korea’s largest banks in a multinational contract dispute valued at several hundred million dollars, represented hundreds of consumers in fraud actions arising out of Hurricane Katrina, and represented a nationwide class of automobile dealers in a series of antitrust cases against Japanese auto parts manufacturers. He is a partner at Neal & Harwell, PLC, one of the nation’s most respected law firms. Away from work, he spends his spare time with his wife Elizabeth and their five children.
Tripp Potter is a finance and technology entrepreneur with expertise in artificial intelligence, hedge funds, venture capital, real estate and technology commercialization.
Tripp is an Executive Board Member of Saros LLC, a company he founded in 2016 as CEO. At Saros, he was the principal architect of the financial industry commercialization strategy for the artificial intelligence developed by NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory at CalTech (JPL). Saros' mission is to solve the financial industries toughest problems with custom artificial intelligence solutions using technologies developed for unmanned space missions, the Deep Space Network, and various other military and intelligence agencies.
Earlier in his career, Tripp has launched a number of hedge funds and venture capital funds – including founding his first hedge fund at the age of 24 - and held positions across the financial industry in investment research, trading, and insurance. Tripp graduated from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance. He is currently pursuing the Massachusetts Institute of Technology | MITx MicroMasters in Statistic and Data Science credential and studying 8 languages.
